St James's location is excellent, a couple of minutes away from city center, a little less than that to a 24-hour convenience store, a little more to the waterfront. The comfortable apartment was very clean and quiet from external noise though it completely lacked hangers, shelving in the showers and had only the very minimum of toiletries. Noise from running water in the master bathroom entered the en suite bedroom. The receptionist, present only for a very short time, was very nice but needs a better orientation "script", especially in regards to parking. The elevator only seems to run when housekeeping needs to transport supplies.

Apt 205 exec single room. Lots of space. Dated but large & comfortable.  Large tv in lounge & smaller in bedroom.  King bed. Quite comfortable Very large bathroom. Shower over bath but also includes hand rail at one end. Quite deep bath. Heated towel rack. Extra single bed in living area. View of mountain & glimpse of lake. Easy walk thru private walkway/gate to Town centre. Older style lift to floor 2. Reception manned 9-5. Spare toilet on 2nd floor for guest with access off hallway. Wifi works. Luggage can be left in locked room with key available at reception desk.

Elizabeth

Absolutey perfect location. It was right in town, yet no road noise due to it facing a courtyard and garden. The rooms were spacious (we stayed in both a one bedroom and a two bedroom) and comfortable. While the apartments did not have a person at the front desk at all times, they arrived with a phone call and were very accommodating, especially in regards to keeping our bags locked away while we were away walking the Milford Track. Passcodes for the garden gate at street level and to enter the building after 6pm were very easy to navigate.

The room was really big. It was a studio room but we had so much space. Two arm chairs and a coffee table. A compact but full kitchen, 4 burner stove, full size fridge an actual oven and a dishwasher. They also did a daily spruce of the room. Also the bed is more comfortable than most 5 star hotels beds I have stayed in. Location was superb, 6 minute walk from the snow centre and buses. Also it is across the road from an excellent cafe for breakfast or brunch.

Great central location. Everything within flat 1-5min walk. Easy to walk to information center to buy all passes & gear, and walk to transport to get up to the ski fields. Great set up for parents & 2 teenagers - small but spaces well set out! Good choice of restaurants, cafes, pubs and entertainment very close. No car needed, Bus from airport, cheap and easy!
